Cancer Information Nurse Specialist

Salary circa £31,794 pa

Cancerbackup has merged with Macmillan Cancer Support. We will be providing the same high quality, expertly developed information about cancer, and now we can make it available to everyone who needs it.

We now have an excellent opportunity for a motivated cancer nurse to join our expanding team in London.

You will have a post-registration qualification in oncology with significant experience in a specialist cancer setting and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The post involves:

• Providing current information and support to people affected by cancer through our national telephone helpline and email enquiry service.
• Researching, writing and contributing to our wide range of patient information booklets and factsheets.
• Being aware of the latest cancer issues and developments and promoting the needs of people affected by cancer.
